Belgian GP 2011 – All in Bulls way

The start of the 2011 Belgian GP was an absolute chaos in turn 1 which spoiled the brilliant qualifying result from Bruno Senna and also Jaime Algersuari.Jenson Button and Michael Schumacher who started from 13 and 24 respectively were the only two drivers on the prime set of tyres.

Vettel started from pole, despite not secured any victory in the last 3GPs Seb showed what the RB7 can do when the sun shines bright and  on a racing mood.Indeed the best 1-2 for RedBull like Webber said.Left front tyres blistered so fast, early pitstops for Mark and Seb were right strategies as Mark lapped 2s faster than the front pack.Webber put the Red Bull down the inside of Alonso’s Ferrari into the bottom of Eau Rouge, the best moment of BelgianGP.

Hamilton’s shunt brought SC when Seb was leading by 5.5s and he pitted to change his worn out Pirellis. On the other side Mark’s primes were ten laps older than Alonso’s options and radio traffic jammed his pitstop,he did 28 laps with that medium tyres and immediately counted the fastest laps after pitted for medium before 13 laps to the end.

The pace of the medium tyres left them dead at the end exactly like what happened back in Barcelona for Ferrari.
Schumi on his 20th anniversary had a good straight line speed and most importantly narrowly beat his team mate for P5.Rosberg who once lead the race ended up on p6 and Force India’s dream run continued with p7 spot for Sutil.
Jenson Button’s incisive driving skills and less blistering on his tyres secured him a well made final podium finish ahead of Fernando Alonso.

Felipe Massa hampered by a puncture managed to pull out p8 and Maldonado became the 1st Venezuelan to score a point since Johnny cecotto.Renault with few upgrades had regained their lost pace and some sponsors OGX & Gillette,p9 for Vitaly.

Tyre warm up issues saw Mark took advantage over the vulnerable ferrari and ease passed him.The flying Button was threatening at the end but it was too little too late to beat the mighty Bulls. The track with less expectations on RedBull saw them quickest in both sector 1&2 and maintained 100% finishing record so far with sweeping all the poles quite comprehensively.Seb on his parade to the second straight title hunt and looked like nothing can ever stop him.
